ANYONE WHO GOES ON AND DOES NOT KEEP TO THE TEACHING OF CHRIST HAS NOT GOD;HE WHO KEEPS TO THE TEACHING HAS THE FATHER AND THE SON. - 2 JOHN 9. BBE.
Of importance in this piece of scripture, is that, the doctrine, or the teaching of Christ is paramount to your being with God and with the Son. But what does that mean, to be with God and with the Son? It means that there is a certainty of joy that comes with being in actual relationship with the doctrine of Christ. It is the respect accorded to the principles that were taught by Christ. The Truth of Christ must therefore be held in utmost respect.
IF YE LOVE ME, KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS...JESUS ANSWERED AND SAID TO HIM, IF A MAN LOVE ME, HE WILL KEEP MY WORDS; AND MY FATHER WILL LOVE HIM, AND WE WILL COME UNTO HIM, AND MAKE OUR ABODE WITH HIM. - JOHN 14:15, 23.
