DEVELOPING PROHETIC SIGHT
-BY PASTOR FRED M. MUKIRI
DI-VISION AND SINGLE SIGHT
In the body of Christ there is a need to see accurately what the Spirit of God is building. It is a dire need. This is in order that one can lead others in a proper spiritual direction. There can be no direction in the Spirit without accurately discerning or distinguish what God’s Spirit is building. When Adam sinned, and not trust God His Father, the intention and purposes of God were not aborted. They were only delayed. A season has now come when God is about to restore all things. He is about to restore all things into union and alignment with His purpose, be it economic, education, religion, law and order government, family, corporate, name it. A better way to say this is, God at work in the Earth by His Spirit to restore mankind to the place they were before Adam and Eve’s disobedience. They were kings and priest on Earth. This is the understanding. The Kingdom of God existed in the Garden before the fall we need to go back and examine what pre-existed in the Garden before the Fall.
Adam and Eve, prior to the instruction of the Lord concerning the tree of knowledge of good and evil, had sight in only one ream; they only saw light ;they only knew love; they only saw God. I’d want you to see that tree differently, not just a physical tree with overripe fruit hanging from it. I’d wish you see it as representing alternative means of acquisition of knowledge and revelation apart from relationship with God. It was after Eve ate of the tree of the knowledge of good evil that for the first time in her life, she became opinionated.
Before that, her opinion was not required. She and her husband relied in total trust in God and in His being God. Something needs be noted. Interaction with the one – visioned dimension of GOD removes opinion and di -visions (divided focuses). Eve had double sight. It’s a medical condition caused schizostoma; divided sight or selective seeing. You choose to see not the reality. She saw the light of God, but she also saw the word of the serpent. It caused her to mistrust the only One who truly loved her and empowered her for the service in the Kingdom. Divided focus or division causes mistrust. It was the intention of the Father that Adam and Eve be leaders who influenced all mankind after them from an eternal perspective and discipline them in the image and likeness of God. Many challenges that trouble leadership; be it personal life, career, relationships, corporate business and church can trace their roots to the fact that they do not lead with a single eye. Leadership woes have their inception at di-vision. Where there is double sight, a person can be attacked by many dark emotional states, because, di-vision gravitates darkness. Listen to the words of Christ himself:
THE LAMP OF THE BODY IS THE EYE; IF THEREFORE YOUR EYE BE GOOD, YOUR WHOLE BODY WILL BE FULL OF LIGHT. BUT IF YOUR EYE BE BAD, YOUR WHOLE BODY WILL BE FULL OF DARKNESS. IF THEREFORE THAT LIGHT THAT IS IN YOU BE DARKNESS, HOW GREAT IS THAT DARKNESS.
MATTHEW 6:22, 23.NKJV.
Ignorance, and its opposite, enlightment of life, and how to handle that life, is based on revelation or light. That’s critical. How then do you see? Sight was so important in Abraham case that his inheritance was based on how much he saw. Think about that in this sense, what if Abraham was blind? It meant, he inherited darkness. It meant if he was to inherit anything, it would depend on someone else’s sight. Think about that in our situation today. We are alive and moving towards the fullness of God in Christ. Every believer and leader is required to develop prophetic sight or singleness of sight. By this I mean seeing things, not the way we want to, but the way God sees them. It means, seeing things from His view point. That’s what it means to be prophetic. To be a prophet means to see things exactly the same way God sees them. A prophet means qualification and graduation in the Old Testament came by God testing his ability to see what God was seeing. - Jeremiah 1: 14 “...what do you see?”
Maturity therefore must become the goal of every saint and every leader. Coming to fullness. Coming to completion rather than competition. In God’s kingdom, there is no competition. It is finishing together.
Till we ALL come to the unity of faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the statute of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine by the treachery of men in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, man grow up in all things into Him who is the head, even Christ.
- Ephesians 4:13-15 NKJV
The epitome of maturity is looking exactly like Christ .God is not in the business of propagating personal ministries and personality cults. He wants that we may manifest Christ corporately by dying to individual agendas. He wants us to die to our–selves. The whole earth is groaning for the manifestation of the sons (not children) of God
Romans: 8:19-22. NIV
CORPORATE CHRIST IS IN DEMAND. Having a vision of Christ’s eternal plan permits us to see how to be recovered, re-united, and re - membered to God and to reconcile others to God. This is because how you see affects what you do.
Christ Jesus is the perfect example of singleness of the eye. He worked in the fullness the of the Spirit.
The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him. The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. His delight is in the fear of the Lord and He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes nor decide by the hearing of His ears; but with righteousness shall judge the poor, and decide with the rod of His mouth and with the breath of His lips He shall judge the wicked. Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins and faithfulness the belt of His waist.
- Isaiah 11:2-5 NKJV
Christ’s movement and decisions on Earth were based on some other realm than the immediate physical. The Branch coming out of Jesse is a mature man. One of the distinct features of the mature Christ is, He will not judge or interpret things by the seeing of His eyes or the hearing of His ears. He has a distinctively different system of evaluation and scales of balance. Growth to maturity in this respect is marked by the same. If maturity is to be defined, it would read, living life from the Spirit dimension which in essence, is contrary to the fleshly nature.
John gives us an example of the contrast between di –vision and singleness of sight.
A woman is caught in the act of adultery. According to the people who caught her i.e. Pharisees and scribes “...she was caught in the very act”. Now, you can’t commit adultery alone. It means, there was a man who is not in the picture as we read the story. They caught her in the act but didn’t bring the man caught with her. See the blindness? Pharisees and scribes represent those who are religious but are not in relationship with God. They were antagonistic and opinionated. They at one point tried to kill Jesus who was the the Word of God in flesh. Those who are opinionated will never have a reconciling spirit. They are usually legalistic and oppressive. They use the law to kill rather than the spirit of the law that gives life. In this case, the woman was guilty, dead wrong, but those with di-vision, they wanted to stone her. They did not consider their own guilt. This usually happens when people are opinionated. You tend to be self-righteous.
Jesus is the Light, Revelation, Insight, Clarity, Illumination. In Him there is no darkness at all. When we constantly behold the light, we are aware of our own sin and darkness. It makes us more merciful and forgiving. We see that we were also forgiven first. This is a mature position in the spirit. Darkness, as opposed to light is obscurity, ignorance, irrelevance and being out of touch with God. Maturity in spirit is forgiveness instead of condemnation and accusation.
Jesus sees the woman, as guilty as she was, but He moves to bring her to the place of her eternal purpose. He sends her away forgiven, instead of ganging up with stone throwers. Di - ision wants to release death. Single sight wants to release light and life. Think about that.

JUDGEMENT AND DOCTRINE OF LAST THINGS.
Eternal Judgement.
Introduction: I have chosen to post something of what we discuss at the Apoduterion. Check it out.
As we come to close of our discourse on The Foundation For Christian Ministry, we are now dealing with Eternal Judgement. 26 or more years ago, a country called Nicaragua was undergoing a civil war. An ABC news reporter whose last name was Stewart was in Nicaragua covering the war. The cameraman was close behind him and so the whole matter was caught on film. Stewart and his party were stopped in what looked like a remote area at an army checkpoint. He was made to lie down on his belly, on the ground, and in a little while, one of the soldiers pointed an M-16 rifle at the back of his head, took a few steps back and shot him point blank. This was captured on tape.
That news-clip was later shown all over the world on various networks and it brought down the government of Anastasio Samosa and paved way for the revolution that occurred in that country as a result.
What’s strange in that situation and in other situations elsewhere in the world is, the killer would not be brought to justice.
Where is justice? How can someone so callously murder another human being?
Admittedly, it goes on all the time over the world and not filmed.
Thought system I: A murder may escape human judgement for the entirety of his days but he will not escape God’s judgement.
God is a better judge than all the judges of the earth put together.
Once you get this into your system, and have it operational, your passion for justice will be slowed down if not entirely quenched.
People, whether believers in Jesus Christ or not, have this “passion for justice”. They want to see things done properly, see crimes punished.
Case example: A Christian activist.
Dietrich Bon Hoeffer was a notable Christian who was hanged by the Nazis. He was a man of great passion. He saw how wrong the incarceration, imprisonment of, and the subsequent genocidal process that murdered 6 million Jews, and was alive when it unfolded. He saw the entire German population swept up in the war and no one was raising an outcry against this evil. This Hitler genocidal tendency crawled across Europe into North Africa, had aligned with Japan and was moving upon the Earth. In his passion for justice, Dietrich Bon Hoeffer joined a plot to murder Hitler. Obviously, it didn’t succeed. But, if it succeeded, how would it have affected the common view of Christianity? Would Christianity today give up their lives for “worthy courses”? Would Dietrich Bonhoeffer been put in the annals of Christian martyrdom?
Can you engage in a murder to prevent more murders?
Hitler was engaged in the systemic extermination of 6 million Jews and another 19 million or more of other kinds of people; Gypsies and other people.
Would it be right for Dietrich Bonhoeffer to murder Hitler when scripture says “Thou shalt not murder” – Exodus 20:13?
Closer to us now. Is it right to murder abortion doctors that murder children in abortion clinics?
A Christian defendant is now in deathrow for killing an abortion doctor.
- An abortionist murders children, the defendant murders the abortionist, the court sentences the defendant to the noose.
The Problem: Evangelical Christian has not articulated a coherent position with respect to this question. All this can be answered by answering a question of whether or not there is such a thing as eternal judgement.
Is God in charge and does He call all things into judgement? Are we to rely on that judgement as opposed to talking matters into our own hands?
Is it possible to stop “killing people in order to prevent others from being killed”?
Thought system II: Scriptures do make a clear exception and it is the exception that relates to the execution of people convicted of the crime of murder through the due process of law.
God has established a process of order and law and when order and law go forward, one of the consequences may be that, for wrongdoers, God has authorized that they be put to death.
The opposite of that is chaotic. If an individual or a group of individuals attack violently with words against the existing governmental regulations and rules and takes the matter privately into their own hands, if that group feels “entitled” to some form of redress (to put right a wrong, so as to compensate for something), that has been denied them through the in the killing of others. Any society that does this will spun descently into anarchy. There would not be government or control in such a society.
If Adolf Hitler’s self orchestrated massacre on Jews could be called a “state – sponsored” murder, then the case of abortion may also be argued as a “state – sponsored” murder.
Why eternal Judgement?
Eternal Gr. Eon…This has multiple meanings…
a. For an age.
b. From one age to another…from age to age.
c. Age upon age…endless ages.
Eternity is recognition that there is a realm that is outside of human time; which is linear, an eternal perspective. The basis or the foundation of that perspective is the opposite of what we have in human time.
In human time, government is formed by rational perspective.
- Rational perspective says, I only know yesterday and today.
- Knowledge of yesterday’s problems grants me the potentiality of today’s problems.
- This knowledge helps me create a system today, to try and counter tomorrow’s potential problems, before they appear, based on yesterday’s knowledge.
- All human governments are formed around this perspective.
- Governments based on rational perspective operate by urgency to arrest the conduct that appears like yesterday’s problem, to punish that conduct, so as to deter future conduct, and in that way guarantee some sense of order, peace, well being of the future.
- From eternal perspective, there is no concept of past, present or future. All matter is known. The end is known before the beginning.
Case Example: A Movie Director.
If you are a movie director and you have done the final cut, you’ve rolled up the movie into one of those rolls, its going to be shown at the premiere. Being the director of the movie at the premiere, you know the end from the beginning. The audience however, is not so privileged, so the audience has to wait for the film to unfold in order to know what the end will be. So if you are the audience, you have one goal. If you are the director, you have another much different goal.
If you are the audience, your goal is to get to the end of the story.
If you are the director, you begin knowing the end of the story before it starts, so your goal is not to get to the end of he story, your goal is to see how the audience responds.
If you have the chance to see the movie to the end, then it means that you may understand what the director understands. You will have the same perspective.
God is the Director. We are the audience.
If we take on the role of God, or in a way extent our own sense of judgement beyond what God has told us to do, then we are entitled to the frustration of not knowing the end from the beginning.
This element of not knowing the end from the beginning is the frustration, which is the foundation of activitism; secular or Christian, mass riot, which is moved by the urgency to change the present policy, so that the future ensures a form of order consistent with their belief.
This is a failure by itself.
- Failure to acknowledge that God is sovereign and that He knows the end of a matter before it begins.
- He lets the matter go on, not because He likes or dislikes it, but because His point of view is different from the linear point of view that commonly characterizes the human point of view, or the rational point of view.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LINEAR, HUMAN, RATIONAL POINT OF VIEW AND ETERNAL POINT OF VIEW.
Images From Jesus’ Coming To The Earth To Die.
1. If you were to view the story of Jesus from a rational humanistic point of view, you’d see a man who is unfairly accused, judged, condemned and executed.
a. Peter would be right. He would be right in pulling out his sword and trying to defend Jesus, in anticipation of the unfolding events, because, at least, it could be said that Peter was impressed with the innocence of Jesus with respect to the things wit the things He was being charged. Rather than being rebuked by Jesus, John 18:10.11, Jesus ought to have commended him for stopping the potential execution of the Lord.
b. Why did the Almighty God, all powerful, stop such an atrocious, wicked cruel and shocking execution of the genuinely innocent man?
c. Why did Jesus, who claimed that He could call down legions of angels in His own defense, choose not to do so and therefore allow a murder to continue, creating enormous guilt and equally enormous, eternal consequences to His murderers? – Matthew 26:53.AV.
d. If He had come to save the world, why did He not save Himself and the ones who were associated with His murder and His trial? –Luke 23:39.AV.
2. If you were to view the story from an eternal point of view:-
a. Peter would be wrong. He would be getting in between Jesus and the plan of God for Him. - John 18:11.AV. He would therefore rebuke Peter.
b. The murder of Jesus had such an importance that went well beyond the span of time and ability of humans to think it through.
Purpose Of Jesus’ Murder From Eternal Point Of View.
1. His death would be substitutionary and would free all humans.
2. God knew that God would resurrect Him from the dead.
His murder would therefore be cured by the resurrection from the dead.
Having died, He would be able to save all those who murdered Him.
From Eternal point of view, all actions, be they human or angelic are brought into judgement. – Romans 14:10-12. AV.
Every thought will be brought into judgement. – John 17:1-5.AV.
There is a purpose for all things that happens under heavens. - Ecclesiastes 3:1-17. AV.
Was there an eternal purpose for the black man to be under slavery, for the boys to die in Jerusalem, for the Jewish Holocaust, for the Rwandan Genocide? Of course yes. Clearly there was. It’s greater than we understand now. But that does not mean that the murderers are righteous. But there is an eternal purpose.
Failure to see God’s purpose in all these things will create an untamed passion that may even justify, in our own minds, the commission of murder. You may be reduced to doing the very thing you despise, because you had no other alternatives.
Many Christians are not seeing God’s eternal purpose, so they are trying to bring about justice, trying to bring about righteousness through legal process, trying to bring right conduct through social action.
The end of the matter is not what we can do to make right a wrong, but rather, nothing escapes the scrutiny of the Most High.
- We are therefore authorized to do such things as the Living God himself authorizes us to do.
God has given a delegation to government to act, even to the point of taking life. But, if the government falsely takes someone’s life, then the ones responsible will also be brought into judgement. An entire nation might be brought into such kind of a judgement.
Eternal judgement says, “GOD IS IN CONTROL.”

ACCURATE BUILDING
By Pastor Fred. M. Mukiri
THE DEMANDS OF THE NEW SEASON – SESSION A.
Part of what I have included in this issue is precedence to a book that is in the process of production, which I am calling, “God’s Great Nation, The Church”. In it, I discuss at length what the process is that God is bringing this Great Nation. Scriptures call you and me rightfully, The Body. It should have a nervous system; some network that connects every part, to the rest of the parts. This nervous system as it sounds is a network of nerves; a connective, communication system.
1st Corinthians 12; 12, 14, 27.
For as the body is one, and with many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.
For the body is not one member, but many.
Now you are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
We are many organs, ligaments, connective tendons, bone framework, muscles, blood vessels, electric impulse centres, and all .These work in unison towards a common corporate purpose. But how does it all come to be, especially now, when the supposedly “Body of Christ” is in dire need of “remembrance”? By remembrance, I mean, bringing every ligament, tissue, sinew, organ to where it was to be connected for the body To Cease To Be Dismembered, Torn Apart, Dead Body. It Is Christ Who Said, In Reference To the Lord’s Table, “...as often as you do this, do it in re- memberance of Me.” He didn’t mean that we should live in want of memory. He was speaking of a reconfigurement of individual organs into one body.
PRELUDE TO THE BODY
Examination Of 1 Peter 2: 1-9 (Read)
The Authorized Version of the King James Bible, 1907 print, begins chapter 2 of 1 Peter with this word, “Wherefore...” It is a continuation of what is in chapter 1, because, well, scriptures didn’t have chapters and verses initially. They were put much later on for easy referencing .But that’s beside the point now. Peter is connecting between the salvation that came by knowing Jesus Christ and the durative process of why we have been saved .So he says ,based on that salvation ,there are things we used to be involved in that we need to lay aside – 1 Peter 2:1. Not only that, as we lay aside some things, we are to desire something else vs. 2, 3. From that point on, Peter unveils something that is supposed to turn us from individual, saved believers into what God wanted by saving us.
Beginning at verse 4, individualism diminishes and a level of corporateness commences. This means, the reason for salvation was not individualism; expressing personal desires and regulating God to a WAND that fulfils what “I” want. In fact, when the apostles of Christ watched Him pray and later desired to pray like him, they asked Him to teach them to pray. Jesus began His teaching by “Our Father...” - Matthew 6:9. That’s serious stuff. It means, in the arena of fatherhood, God is not a personal but Corporate Father. So, how do we grow and migrate from individualism, self - seeking and self - seeing people to a corporate household?
1 Peter 2:4 NIV... as you come to Him, the Living Stone...
Stone describes the material, the process and the technology of buiding. Stone also means the solid nature of the building. It speaks that what God is doing is not a revival. It is an establishment of a “Permanent standard”. Stone means, seasons of highs and lows will come, but change in seasons will not change the constituent nature of the Stone. The stone remains unscathed, unchanged, untouched.
There are two dimensions to our “...coming to Him”
1. HE SUMMONS.
2. WE COME.
It means, migrating to all we are to be: corporate Christ, is not a self-assertive, initially fleshly - driven. He calls, we come. That gives me courage to go on than a promise of a Jacuzzi, and a waterbed. It means, the straining work of construction is validated by His initial calling to build.
Coming is a journey, not an event
COMING IS A PROGRESSIVE MOVEMENT TOWARDS THE LIGHT1 Peter 2:9 ...CALLED OUT OF DARKNESS INTO HIS WONDERFUL LIGHT. NIV We come to His light, illumination, knowledge. John 1:4, 5 points out that the life that Christ lived was the light or illumination of men. In other words, He didn’t live a self centered life .He lived a life that showed men how to live. He therefore becomes the pattern principle behind who we should cut out our lives.
1 Peter 2:5. NIV ...YOU ALSO ARE BEING BUILT INTO A SPIRITUAL HOUSE.Coming to Him has one definite product, a spiritual house. In durative process of coming, you who are saved are procedurally changed into living stones. In other words as you migrate into more of Him, there’s a fusion of the qualities on the Living Stone into the living stones that makes it a spiritual house. This is all the work of the Holy Spirit, that’s why it is a spiritual, not a physical house. At this juncture, it is clear to say emphatically, there’s no physical construction on Earth that can contain God.
Another thing I’d wish to note is this; we are coming to a Rejected Stone. That’s serious. When I saw that, I was shot through as with an arrow. Christ, The Living Stone is a rejected stone. But, who rejected This Stone is the issue. Men did.
But the same Stone, disqualified according to the bureau of standards of men, was chosen by God and Most Precious to Him. Precious is the Greek word, timios or timioteros meaning most valuable, held in utmost reputation. Synods and meetings of A.G.M’s rejected what God held in utmost reputation. They chose temporal standards not The Stone. They chose revivals, not The Stone. You only revive that which is dead to begin with. Viva is Latin for life. Re is a prefix to mean again. So RE-VIVA means bring life back that which had expired. They chose things whose constituent natures change with seasons. They rejected The Choice of God. No wonder they crucified Him.
1st Peter 2; 6 NIV ...SEE I LAY IN ZION...
There are a few things we need to get here. God says, “See” You can’t know this unless your eyes are opened. It’s an issue of discernment. When He says “...I Lay...” two things are implied;
1. It’s not a “dropping”. Lay is the word tithemi in Greek. It means, to place in a posture, purpose, ordain, and settle. It is a fixing or a settling at the right time and purposely. It means, from that time on, what is laid will never be uprooted. It is a permanent standard.
2. It’s a divine work.
He says “...I lay...”
2 Peter 2:6 is a quotation of an Old Testament scripture; Isaiah 28:16. In that Old Testament scripture, it is much more serious. It begins this way; ...So this is what the Sovereign Lord says... In other words, God is doing this activity in His sovereignty. There’s no agreement, no argument, no debate, no deliberation of a committee or a joint caucus. Meaning, no one is needed to choose the shape, size or qualities in the composition of the stone. He resigns this to Himself. If you read this verse in context (Isaiah 28:16), meaning, you back up a bit; to around verse 14, you’ll realize what makes God lay The Stone sovereignly. The people who God had entrusted to rule His people Jerusalem, a symbol of The Church, The City of Peace, were making a boast of having entered into a covenant with death. They had made an agreement with the grave, that what God wanted to do would not touch them. They made death to be their refuge and falsehood their hiding place. So God said as a response, “I Lay In Zion a Stone”. So the laying is supposed to counter a certain trust in a lie and falsehood. Laying is a judgment on all falsehood and a lying defensive system.
Zion Is The Seat Of God’s Government In The Earth – Psalms 84:7: Hebrews 12:22-24. From Zion, God has access to the other realms of the world and the universe.
Coming to Zion is coming to a harmony and a bending of all the following elements into one:
1. THE CITY OF GOD
2. BILLIONS OF ANGELIC HOSTS
3. THE CHURCH
4. GOD HIMSELF
5. SPIRITS OF THEN RIGHTEOUS MEN PERFECTED
6. JESUS
All these, blended together make up God’s Government. From this place, God’s Government flows to every other system and cosmos on the vast dimensions, both spiritual and physical. Sounds serious to me.
2 Peter 2:7, 8 ...TO YOU WHO BELIEVE... THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE...
COMING TO THE STONE IS JUDGEMENT
At the beginning of this periodical, I mentioned about remembrance. With the mentioning of the Table of the Lord, the principle of examination comes into play-1 Corinthians 11:28-34. That word examination and judgment are the same word; dokimazo in Greek. It brings the idea of discerning so as to separate.
Coming to The Stone produces a “separation environment”.
Two qualities separate at The Standard:
1. Those who believe.
2. Those who do not believe.
Believe, at this point doesn’t mean, an initial basic trust and dependence on God for salvation. Peter was writing to saved people, as we saw earlier on. Believe as used here is the word pisteuo in Greek which means a constancy of conviction of the truthfulness of God. It is the consistent constant, prolonged process pf crediting one’s life on the truthfulness of God. Meaning, as we come to Him, as we continuously migrate into higher dimensions in Christ, constancy of conviction in the truthfulness of God becomes our lifeline. You lose that, you stumble. Those who will miss such a constant conviction will in actual fact reject God’s standard, even though, outwardly, they may confess Jesus is Savior and Lord.
To such kind of people, Jesus, God’s Precious Stone changes instantaneously. He becomes a Stone that cause that causes men to stumble Vs 8. That can cause a dead man to rise up for a moment. Stumble is a Greek word proskomma, which means, occasion of apostasy, offence. I want you to think of God putting a rock that makes you stumble and be offended at Christ. You take offence at The Rock Christ because of disobedience. Lacking constant obedience to the message provides occasion for apostasy and falling away. The burden, therefore, is to keep on moving, migrating on into Him. Peter says verse 6 ...and the one who trust in Him will never be put to shame.
In this journey of migrating to all that Christ is, Satan’s intention is this; shaming you so that you disqualify yourself from reigning. But even through he is pursuing to ashame and disgrace us; God vindicates those who obediently follow. There is a new position in the Spirit, promised to all who respond right. By right response to the summon, it will result in perfection. We shall continue.

NEW SEASON
By Pastor Fred. M. Mukiri
Response to the New Season
The whole earth is in a new season. This has nothing to do with Autumn, Spring Summer or Winter. It’s a heavenly season, a divine season that has hit the Earth so hard that the Earth will never go back to what it has been before. We are on a journey to fulfill God’s mandate and His divine purposes. Since 1990s, prophetic voices around the world began to sound out that the Earth was in a brink of a New Dispensation. Dr. Morris Curello was among the key men who sounded that clarion call. When these prophets were speaking that way, the season we were in was the Charismatic season. People were being baptized into the Holy Spirit and many of them prophesied things from the Spirit of God.
Questions have risen about what the season is all about. This may not be enough forum to explain in detail what is happening .But to touch but a few things, we are moving from the dispensation of Church to Kingdom, from Sectarian, Denominational organization to Kingdom Communities, from God existing for our needs to we, living for His will, from a “parish complex” to covenantal relationships. Varied sectors of the Body of Christ have understood this while some recesses are opposed to it and brand it as “cultic”, just because they fall short of understanding what God’s Spirit is doing.
Knowledge of God is in “layers”. Truth in God is in layers. Before anything happens on Earth from the realm of the Divine, God takes it upon Himself to communicate it to His prophets - Joel 3:7.When the prophets announce what God is about to do, it becomes imperative for the people who hear to repent; this time not from sin, but from the inaccuracies that had characterized where they are, to embrace what God is about to release. Since the Protestant Reformation or otherwise the Lutheran Reformation of 1700’s, God has been systematically restoring truth that was lost in the Dark Ages of the Roman Catholic Monolith, consolidated under popes. These Truths were proclaimed by certain individuals who become the pioneers and developers of what they saw in God. But our greatest undoing has been denominations consolidated around these truths and the personalities and what they taught. So we have Lutherans, Wesleyans, Coptic, Presbyterians, Catholics, Pentecostals and so on. But that was not the intention of God. God is not sectarian neither is His body segmented. So a question has risen. What is the accurate response to a New Season that God speaks through the mouth of the prophets?
I endeavor to bring clarity into these matters in this periodical, and for sufficiency of information, you can link with us by the address at the foot of this document.
I said, God’s truth is in layers. It is stone-upon-stone, .Let me explain.
Exodus 1:8 and following, opens up a discourse about a change of season. A different king came in Egypt and changed the course of events and orders of daily life.
We are told that he didn’t know Joseph and he went on to employ task masters who enslaved the children of Israel. These sons of Israel cried upon God and as a response, God sent Moses as a deliverer. The relationship of these sons of Israel with God from that point in time was towards a revelation of the nature and character of God. He took them to the mountain to explain to them the nature of that relationship and since they didn’t want to approach him, He gave them a set of precedence that would govern that relationship. He initially wanted to live among them but when He called them to Himself, they hid and didn’t want to approach His glory. God never intended them to become a religion, but that’s what they resulted into. A religious bunch, filled with dos and don’ts. It was supposed to be a RELATIONSHIP developing out of continual revelation of who God was and what His purposes for deliverance were.
So God gave Moses the Decalogue (10 commandments) to be a regulation and a government of how this peculiar relationship would operate. In the process of time, religious groups consolidated out of this initial relationship, which went on, through the years to develop thousands and thousands of laws and sub-laws out of the 10. The initial, simple relationship mutated into a stratified religious system, a monument of past glory, filled with dos and don’ts.
Secretarian dogmatism crept in that saw to division of the sons of Israel into sects based on what each believed and didn’t believe. There were Hellenists, Pharisees, Saducees, Zealots, Scribes, to mention but a few.
One of the disciples of these religious systems comes into picture to show us how religion and secretarian ideology operates at the onset of a new season from God. Remember, this religious outfit grew and consolidated from an authentic move of God, The Exodus. But because of failing to understand the intentions of God and His purposes for the Exodus, which was relationship - Exodus 3:10, it deviated, took a tangent and an offshoot took them off the track. God, in His own sovereignty sent His Son, the embodiment of all the law of God (Logos- Word-Counsel of God) to re-introduce God to them, just like Moses re-introduced the God of their fathers - Exodus 3:13-15. This Son, who was God’s Total Counsel in flesh; incarnate, was to shape up what went crooked, because , the problem was not the Law of God ,but the people on whom the Law came –Romans 8:1-13;7:7-14.
JOHN 3 introduces to us a man who was a teacher of this religious outfit. The way he expresses himself is the same way religion operates. So, in essence, John 3 is a confrontation between a New Season; a current representation of God, and a past season; what God did in the past.
Vs 2...HE CAME TO JESUS BY NIGHT...
Religion has a way of hiding from the light. I call them, night crawlers. They don’t want “to walk in the light as He is in the light”– 1 JOHN 1:5-7.They are afraid that their deeds will be seen for what they were .So he comes by night. According to this group, it was anathema, a cursedness of some sort, for God inhabit a human body. Human bodies, to them, were evil and beyond repair. So someone coming around and claiming that he was God - In - Flesh was something that gravitated a death penalty on that party. But this particular guy, who we will call NIC the righteous, seems to have been following Jesus from afar. Just like a past season, NIC the righteous knows the validity of the New, but he doesn’t want to leave the Old and link with the New.
Actually, that’s the reason why NIC the righteous comes to Jesus; a representative of the New at night. Doesn’t want its nature exposed. It always propagates and proliferates at night... night crawlers.
I can give NIC the righteous credit. For once, he refers to Jesus as rabbi, meaning “Teacher of the New.” He then goes on to say that “we know...”, in other words, the Previous or Old Season understands that the New Season is from God. Essentially, Nic the righteous is saying, “you one from God and God speaks to You now, not us”. According to NIC the righteous, no one could do what this New Season does unless God be with him.
Look at the focus of the New Season. Does it beat its chest at the pomp of all these accolades? Emphatic no! Jesus, a representative of the New, is not egocentric. The New Season is not accessed by Ego – Maniacs. Blunt words but true to the core. He does not congratulate NIC the righteous for discerning that this new thing is authentic. The others in NIC’s camp were saying this new thing was Cultic. They said He cast out devils using the prince of devils. They said He was mad, or otherwise, besides Himself. All these heap of abuse at an authentic thing that the Spirit of God was doing.
Jesus goes on to describe the necessary response to access the New Season. Verse 3... Verily, verily, I saw unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. A.V.
This is what the Authorized King James Version, New Scofield reference Bible 1967 copy put as footnotes to this verse:
“...The necessity of the new birth grows out of the incapacity of the natural (or religious) man to see or enter into the Kingdom of God. However gifted, moral, or refined the may be, the man is bluntly blind to spiritual truth and impotent to enter the Kingdom; for can neither obey, understand, nor please God... (John 3:3, 5, 6; Psalm 51; Jer 17:7; Mark 7: 21 – 23; I Cor 2: 14; Romans 8: 7, 8; Ephe 2:3)
NIC, this respected Jewish religious leader came to Jesus seeking this New Season. He actually needed to be born from Christ.
Religion can’t enter the Kingdom.
A rich young ruler came to Jesus, seeking the Kingdom, the New Season. “What do I do?” - Mark 10:17. He had money, but he had missed the New Season big time. His money had become his religion. Jesus replied that he should part with his god, which was his wealth and give it to the poor. Its not that money is essentially evil, but that was his greatest impediment. Money was his god. “...Come and follow me then”. - Mark 10:21.
A Samaritan woman had been through five husbands. She did not know that she was looking for the New Season in God. What makes me say that is because, this lady claims she was actually a worshipper, she met The Season Himself, at a well she frequented at odd hours. He told her that He could give her the Living Water; that He had ability to give her something that world satisfy her forever and become ... a spring of water welling to eternal life - John 4;10 -14. She said “...give me this water”.
Peter, in his assertiveness, tried to become an impediment to the door to the New Season. He was viewing and minding the things of men, not God’s. His remedy was, “...get thee behind me Satan”. In other words, as long as you mind what people say or think about you, you will gravitate “a Satan dimension”; an opposition to advancement of God‘s will. Peter’s cure came by alignment. “Get thee behind me! Align yourself to me. Tow the line Peter”.
Have you responded to the New Season or are you in opposition to it?
