A COMMUNITY FOR THE KING.

PRINCIPLES FOR THE HOUSE OF GOD.- Pastor Fred M. Mukiri

Im about to explain to us 3 things that I feel are necessary and imperative for us to understand in the will of God.

1. THE WHOLE EARTH IS IN A NEW SEASON.

It has nothing to do with autumn, spring, summer, winter, fall. Its a Heavenly season. In this season, we are talking about, its a season in which things have changed in the Earth and will never go back to how they have been. We are on our way to fulfilling the Divine purposes.

2. THINGS ARE ABOUT TO CHANGE.

Since 1990s, as we approached the year 2000, prophetic voices all around the world began to utter the sound that said that a New Season was coming, and we were in a transition from what used to be, to a New Thing. During the season, inside which the speakings came, it was the Charismatic Renewal Season. The Prophetic Season has already come speaking about Re-alignment and Accurate Building of the Purposes of God. We are changing from what you might term as "church", "denomination", "sectarian theology", to "Kingdom".

In this New Season, everything in the former Season that survived that Season, has to mutate to a different understanding. If you will do things that you've done, the same way you' ve done them, you will find that, there is no Grace from God in which to do these things. This doesnt mean much, because, to many, things have always been the same. They can't realise any change whatsoever. But because Grace has departed, that's why the leaders of these churches and ministries have sought ways and means to keep themselves "relevant". They have turned to MERCHANDISATION OF THE ANOINTING especially, and MANIPULATIVE CONTROLLING, as a means to authenticate their works, and they are still calling that God's doing.

3. MOSES' SERPENT; WHAT DO WE DO WITH THE OLD?

NUMBERS 21:4-9., opens to us an interesting event that needs be discovered in order for us to understand God's dealings with the sons of men. The Israelites were journeying from Mount Hor by the way of the Red Sea, to go around Edom. We are told that they grew impatient on the way and they spoke against God and against Moses. So God sent..., God sent fiery serpents that bit many people and many of them died. The people came to Moses and acknowledged their sin, and Moses prayed for them to God. God's healing plan was a fiery bronze serpent on a pole. Whoever looked at the serpent, lived. Of interest to me, is what scripture records in 2 Kings 18:1-4. NKJV.

Now it came to pass in the third year of Hoshea the son of Elah, king of Israel, that Hezekiah the son Ahaz, king of Judah, began to reign. He was twenty five years old when he became king, and he reigned twenty- nine years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was abi the daughter of Zechariah. And he did what was right of the Lord, according to all that his father David had done. He removed the high places and broke the "sacred" pillars, cut down the wooden image and broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made; for until those days the children of Israel burnt incense to it, and called it Nehushtan.

There are interesting things in these passages. One, you have to post it in you that it was God who gave this revelation to Moses about the remedy to their snake bites. So the brazen serpent was from God. But down the line, another king, calling himself, "the son of David", though his biological, immediate father was Ahaz, took that same revelation from God, and destroyed it. If you did that today, I mean, destroy a revelation from God, you'd be stoned literally. But we are also told that he did what was right of the Lord. In other words, (and I stand to be corrected) it was God who told him to destroy what God had given earlier. This previous revelation had become a tool to be worshipped, together with other idolatrous paraphanelia; an object to burn incense to. Incense is symbolic to "prayer of the saints". These saints were praying to the wrong thing. They worshipped the wrong thing that God had used during Moses' time, instead of God Himself. They had even baptised the snake and dietised it NEHUSHTAN- "THIS BRONZE THING". Wierd, but they did that. Why? They didn't know God's will. It required a HEZEKIAH...Hb...STRENGTHENED BY JEHOVAH, to break this idolatrous practice; of burning incense to something that once represented God but lacks the now Grace of God.

So a season has come, requiring Hezekiahs of the day, a generation that denounces the immediate paternity of idolatry and of inaccuracy(Ahaz) and traces accuracy in representing God. Hezekiah traced accurate relations and when he found it in David, he called David, "MY FATHER". SO A SEASON HAS COME TO TRACE ACCURACY, AS IT APPEARS IN GOD, AND TO SHUN AND DENOUNCE ANYTHING THAT APPEARS GOD, BUT IS NOT GOD.
So a season has come, requiring Hezekiahs of the day, a generation that denounces the immediate paternity of idolatry (personalized in Ahaz), and traces accuracy in the representation of God. Hezekiah traced accurate relations and when he found it in David; he called David, “My father”.

A season has come, to trace accuracy as it appears in God, and to shun and denounce anything that appears God, but is not God.

In this season, God is raising a community for Himself by the Spirit. He is releasing pictures prophetically, piece-by-piece, showing us what He wants built upon the earth to show forth His will as it appears in Heaven.

A Community is a group of people with shared interests.
After the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, on the day of Pentecost, a unique community, which was called “church”, was born. It was so unique that it differed from what had come before it. There were religious groups back then. But the Spirit of God was not poured on them to create Gods church. This group resulted from shared interests. It is possible to share interests in a group. But as long as the ways of expressing or exercising those interests differ, there are certain aspects of community life that may not be achieved.

The first task was therefore to ensure that the community attained a unique identity; very different from what was in existence; in the form of Pharisees, Sadducees, scribes, zealots, and so on.

I have come to realize that God does nothing in time without first showing it before time. He gives visual images and pictures of what He wants to do, before He does it. For us in this context of the community for the King, there are pictures in the Old Testament to show us what God wants;

I want to refresh your memory of the story of Jacob who was running away from his brother Esau. He was on the open plains, a location known as Luz. He decided to bed down on the plains for the night. While he was sleeping, he had a vision, and in his vision, he saw a stairway from the earth to heaven. On the stairway, he saw angels ascending and descending.
Everything in the Old Testament has no relevance, unless we see a complete picture of it in the New Testament, in the life of Jesus.
John 1:43-51. KJV.

43The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.
44Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.
45Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
46And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.
47Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!
48Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.
49Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.
50Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.
51And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

Jesus finds a man called Phillip and said to him, “follow me…” Phillip finds a friend called Nathaniel, and explains to him that he had found the Messiah. Nathaniel was a guileless fellow. He did not take it well with manipulation. He didn’t rub well with oblique suggestions. His feet were always on the ground. You couldn’t sweep him off his feet. Jesus greets him. Nathaniel looks at Jesus as if to ask, “and whose are you?” Jesus responds that He had seen Nathaniel under the fig tree. Nobody was around where Nathaniel was, so he answered, “You must be the King of Israel”. Jesus takes the occasion to collapse the time in between, from the day when Jacob saw the vision on the location known as Luz, and renamed it Beth- El, meaning, House of God. (Beth means House…El means God.)

Therefore, Jacob was prophesying that, that place where Heaven meets Earth is called ‘The House of God’. House of God is the PLACE WHERE GOD DWELLS. Jesus makes an outstanding claim that, that place WAS HE. “I AM HE”. – John 4:26.KJV. This means, there is a moment , meaning, ASSOCIATIONS IN RELATIONSHIPS, where people will relate in a certain way, creating an environment where God comes and reveals Himself in His presence. That moment in time , that environment where God comes and reveals Himself, that place that you can’t invite Him, is called THE HOUSE OF GOD; THE BODY OF CHRIST…I AM HE…

This Body of Christ is NOT related to a place or a space. There is no more special place on Earth than others where you can access God better than other places. It is not a SPATIAL PLACE, as in, AN ARCHITECTURAL BUILDING. This Body of Christ, The Community of the King, The House of God, Beth El, IS THE MEETING GROUND OF THOSE WHO KNOW GOD AND WHO ARE JOINED TOGETHER BY THE SPIRIT, WHO ARE BUILT UP INTO THAT BODY OF CHRIST.

BUT GOD DWELLS IN HEAVEN?
True. In Eternity, meaning no time, that’s His dimension of thriving. But, THE PLACE WHERE GOD DWELLS IN TIME IS WHERE ETERNAL REALITIES COME INTO TIME AND CREATE A NEW REALITY; A NEW SEASON.

This new reality, under the Headship of Christ, moves together in the Earth by a government that is divinely inaugurated.
This new reality moves under the authority and rule of the Lord Jesus Christ. When those people, together, constituting the corporate presence of Jesus Christ in the Earth, God fills that “thing”, that “being”, with His presence.

New season appears on Earth in the context of this place where Heaven meets the Earth; Beth- El.
GOD DOES NOT DWELL IN PHYSICAL ARCHITECTURAL CONSTRUCTIONS. HE DWELLS IN A LOCATION IN TIME, LOCATION, NOT SPATIAL, BUT ASSOCIATIONS OF RELATIONS CREATING AN ENVIRONMENT THAT GOD COMES INTO AND FILLS WITH HIS PRESENCE.

This “thing”, does not argue for constructing a building to contain it. Indeed, if you tried to contain it in a building, you will be so frustrated and disappointed, and you will soon be out of money, because, it’s really about the people. It’s a RELATIONAL NORM. These relations are ordained in Heaven. They are not constructed by the consent of men, purely agreeing to walk together.
- If all you have are just relations, then all you have is a SOCIAL CLUB. However benevolent the social club maybe, it doesn’t constitute the place where God’s presence inhabits.




PRINCIPLES FOR THE COMMUNITY FOR THE KING; HOUSE OF GOD; BETH-EL.

1 Corinthians 3:16. NKJV.
Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

2 Corinthians 6:16. NKJV.
And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the Living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”

Ephesians 2:21.NKJV.
In whom, the building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord.

TRAITS OF BETH-EL. – GENESIS 28:10-22.NKJV.

1. VS 11…HE CAME TO ACERTAIN PLACE…

Beth- El represents, a certain place. The reason we are not told where that particular place is, is because, it is ANY PLACE. God doesn’t want us to be fixated to particular focal positions as more favoured, anointed, and spiritual than others. The podium in a local church-house in not more holy than the entrance or exit points to and out of the same building. Actually, in that particular situation in Jacob’s instance, the reason he rested there, was not because it was ‘the house of God.’ It was “…because the sun had set…”. If the sun had set while he was elsewhere, that would have became the Beth El. There’s no particularization of certain physical positions as the most precise places of worship.

John 4: 21, 23, 24, 26.NKJV.
Jesus said to her, “woman, believe me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the father in Spirit and Truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and Truth”. Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you, Am He.”
JESUS IS BETH-EL.

2. VS 12…A LADDER WAS SET UP…ITS TOP REACHED TO HEAVEN…ANGELS OF GOD WERE ASCENDING AND DESCENDING ON IT…
At Beth – El, Heaven meets the Earth. The ladder was not set in Heaven. It was set on Earth. The other element to this filling of God’s presence in this configuration of relationships is that there is an ASCENDING and DESCENDING function. The angels, Gr. ANGELOS…SENT ONES…, MESSENGERS OF EARTH, go up to Heaven, not physically, but are given the Spirit of God to access the MYSTERIES OF GOD.
Of interest to note is that, they “ASCEND” before “DESCENDING”. So the ladder was set on Earth. Meaning, the journey begins on Earth, to Heaven, and then descends back to the Earth.
These angelos, sent ones, look into the things angelos have longed to look into. God no longer sends angelic messengers as in the sense of supernatural beings to come and bring messages from God to us.

Hebrews 1:1-8. NKJV. (God’s supreme revelation).
God, who at various times and in various ways spoke I times past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days ( or ..,”in the last of these days…”, which days, those days that He spoke through the prophets) spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed Heir of all things, through Whom also He made the worlds; Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His Person, and upholding all things by the word of His power(not the power of His word), when He had Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. For to which of the angels did He ever say: “You are My Son, Today I have begotten You”? And again: “I will be to Him a Father, And He shall be to Me a Son”? But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: “Let all the angels of God worship Him.” And of the angels He says: “Who makes His angels spirits and His ministers a flame of fire.” But of the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is a scepter of Your kingdom…”

There are human messengers who ascend and descend. These messengers download things that are valuable, to describe the season and to speak of the empowerment of the season. The New Testament has 2 examples of persons who did this:-

A. PAUL. – 2 Corinthians 12:2-4. NKJV.
I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago- whether in body; I do not know, or whether out of body I do not know, God knows- such a one was caught up to the third Heaven. And I know such a man- whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows- how he was caught up into paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.


B. JOHN.-Revelation 4:1.NKJV.
After these things, I looked, and behold, a door standing open in Heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.”

He was allowed to see things that were yet to come and he was given clear instructions to write these in a book. That’s angelos; sent ones.

3. VS. 13…THE LORD STOOD ABOVE IT…
God’s authority is in it. God stands above Beth- El. The highest point in Beth- El, is God in His standing position. Standing in scriptures talk of AN ESTABLISHMENT OF A PERMANENT, UNMOVABLE STANDARD.


4. VS. 13, 14…GOD OF ABRAHAM YOUR FATHER…GOD OF ISAAC…
Talks of realization of prophetic destinies. It is a place of accessing and actualizing prophetic destinies. WHAT HAS BEEN PROPHESIED TO A PERSON, AFFECTS A PEOPLE AND A GENERATION. It ceases to be a prophetic utterance and changes into an actual generational happening. The promise is captured and the people become what was promised.
In this context, Jacob would receive the same word that Abraham and Isaac caught. He would become co-heir, the next in the list of the heirs, with Abraham. God would now be the God of Abraham, Isaac and JACOB.
Peter, standing with the Eleven said that day, “This is what was spoken by the prophet Joel…”- Acts 2:16.NKJV. They were Truths that affected generations to come.

5. VS. 15…UNTIL I HAVE DONE WHAT I HAVE SPOKEN TO YOU…
Place of Kingdom purpose; seeing to it that all that has been prophesied or prophetically- declared comes to completion and termination. It is a position of passionate determination to accomplish the declared word.

6. VS. 16…SURELY THE LORD IS IN THIS PLACE…
The Lord must be present. That’s what makes it Beth- El; the house of God. It is not because it has been made “for God’s glory”. In His absence, it is just a “beth”, a house, a social club. God being there makes it a Beth- El. Lacking the presence of God gravitates an inglorious thing. An Ichabod dimension. An oikos without the authority of the family head.



7. VS. 17…HOW AWESOME IS THIS PLACE…
Awesome…Hb. Yare…frightening, fear, revere…The house of God has an incomparable standard of reverence, not because of what it is, but because of the standards and scales of the One Who inhabits it.

8. VS. 17…THIS IS THE GATE OF HEAVEN…
Gate talks of access point towards and from a place.
Beth- El is the access point to DIVINE GRACE and SUPERNATURAL CAPACITY. It is the INTERPHASE between PHYSICAL/ TANGIBLE/ TIME DIMENSION, and the DIVINE/ SUPERNATURAL/ SPIRITUAL/ETERNAL DIMENSION.
It is not just a place where people come to access God. It is a place where God comes into human affairs. It’s an interphase; THE HIGHEST PLACE WHERE MAN CAN COME IN THE PHYSICAL DIMENSION: THE LOWEST POINT GOD CAN DESCEND IN THE SPIRITUAL DIMENSION. That’s Beth- El.

9. VS. 22…I HAVE SET AS A PILLAR…
Pillar…Hb…matstsebah…something stationed, a column, a memorial stone, a garrison.
It’s an unshakable planting. It constitutes memorial Truths that transcend weathering and external corruption and denudation. It talks of stability and ability to stand ground without wavering in spite of external shakings and quakes. These Truths at Beth- El, garrison God’s dealings with human and their interactions.



2 Chronicles 1:7-12, 2 Chronicles 9:1-8. NKJV.
TRAITS OF BETH-EL CONTINUED;-
Solomon is the new king after David his father. He asks for wisdom and knowledge in Chapter 1 and they are granted the same night. Eight chapters down the line, that grace form God, though invisible, could now be seen.
2 Chronicles 9:3.NKJV.
And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, the house that he had built,...

So there are dimensions in Solomon’s wisdom that are part of Beth-El.

10.VS 4…THE FOOD ON HIS TABLE…
Food on the table represents the MINISTRATION OF THE WORD. At Beth- El, caution is taken as to what food is given to the people.
Jeremiah 3…God’s call has always been to exit INACCURATE REPRESENTATION.
JEREMIAH 3:1.NKJV…RETURN TO ME…
God allows the returning of Israel (symbolic of the church) like an adulterous woman.

VS. 6…RELIGIOUS AND HIGH PLACE WORSHIP…
He calls it “playing the harlot”. God goes on to give a remedy for this waywardness.

VS. 15…I WILL GIVE YOU SHEPHERDS ACCORDING TO MY HEART, WHO WILL FEED YOU WITH KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING…

2 CORINTHIANS 3:6NKJV. HE HAS MADE US COMPETENT AS MINISTERS OF THE NEW COPVENANT,- NOT OF THE LETTER BUT OF TE SPIRIT; FOR THE LETTER KILLS, BUT THE SPIRIT GIVES LIFE.
Paul uses an interesting word here. Ministers, Gr. diakoneo…ATTENDANT…A WAITER SERVING TABLES…
He talks of this in reference to apostolic ministry; chosen by God not by the people, to present food from God, to the people.

HOW you serve the food determines what the people become. God wants you to feed His people on God’s menu, so that they can become Christ icons on Earth.

11.VS. 4…SEATING OF HIS SERVANTS…
This represents the positioning of leadership in the house of God. How is the order of the house? Is it theocratic, meaning, according to the grace given by God, or democratic, meaning, according to popular opinion or the prevalent vote?
Placement in Beth- El is by God’s appointment, not by human vote.
ACTS 13:2, 3.NKJV.
As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Then, having fasted and prayed and laid hands on them, they sent them away.

12. VS. 4…THE SERVICE OF THE WAITERS…
Represents ministry given to the congregation.It is a picture of the diakoneo. A theocratic installation to serve. Confidence and quality is demonstrated. A spirit of excellence is manifested. There is coordination and administration. There is training in excellence of the people under their care.

13.VS 4…AND THEIR APPAREL…
Represents personal anointing.The graces and divine capacities to minister the Corporate Christ to the people working in the house.
1 Corinthians 12:4-12.NKJV.

14. VS.4…HIS CUP BEARERS AND THEIR APPARELS…
Represents the Core-team. Those that are closest in vicinity and contact to the set-man. They guard and protect the set-man. No poisoning. The set-man and the cup-bearers know when things are wrong.

NEHEMIAH 2:1b, 2.NKJV.
When wine was before him, that I took the wine and gave it to the king. Now I had never been sad in his presence before. Therefore the king said to me, “why is your face sad, since you are not sick? This is nothing but sorrow of the heart,” So I became dreadfully afraid.

15.VS. 4…HIS ENTRYWAY BY WHICH HE WENT UP…
Represents worship, laying our lives down as we prepare to access God.
Talks of accessing the throne of grace, accessing God’s presence.
ROMANS 12:1, 2.NKJV.
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and prefect will of God.



16. VS. 7, 8…HAPPY ARE YOUR MEN AND HAPPY ARE THESE YOUR SERVANTS.Blessing flows continuously to those in that house, to hear the wisdom descending in that house. God takes a delight in such kind of a house. Righteousness and justice flows in that house.
